In September, Witches Night Out organizers announced that new this year, Downtown Manchester’s 5th Annual Witches Night Out on Saturday, October 11, from 6pm to 9:30pm, will feature a free WAVE shuttle. Last week they finalized the route. The shuttle, sponsored by Manchester Mill on the Water, will allow attendees to avoid the hassle of trying to find parking downtown and instead concentrate on the evening of shopping, drinking, dancing, eating, and the big end-of-the-night witch contest.
The shuttle will run on a circuit from the Baker Road Park and Ride Lot at I-94’s exit 167 at 6:30pm, to the Chelsea M-52 Park and Ride Lot at I-94’s exit 159, to the Manchester Market parking lot, to the Manchester Mill downtown, then back to the Baker Road Park and Ride Lot. The shuttle will do a last pickup at the Mill at 9:30pm, at the conclusion of the Witch contests, and will have riders back to the Baker Road Lot around 9:50pm and the Chelsea Lot around 10:05pm.
Organizers have also finalized the event schedule!
At 6pm the Potions Quest Game begins. Look for the potions sign in participating downtown businesses. Ask nicely for a potion; you may be asked to perform a task. Collect your potion bottle. Once you have collected at least 10, stop in at the Mill for your prize.
At 8:30pm, Learn the Thriller Dance at the Manchester Mill, taught by Anya Novesky from Dance with Heart Studios.
Downtown stores will close at 8:45pm.
Everyone is encouraged to make their way to the Manchester Mill for a performance of the Thriller Dance at 9pm followed by the Costume and Cackle Contests.
